Today should have been our going home day but we were delayed because of our consulate appointment.  Thankfully we are not like some others in our group who cannot go home until Monday or Tuesday.

Today we went to the Sun Yat Sin Memorial and it is a huge theatre where they put on plays and concerts.  Very impressive in style and size.  We will post pictures later after we get home.  It is starting to rain and we are in a little internet cafe near the hotel.  I could not take the slow connection in our room anymore.  This is much better.

We went to the Hard Rock Cafe Guangzhou and it was great to get a cheeseburger and fries.  There was no rice in sight!   I love Chinese food but after 2 weeks I am ready for something different.

We bought a cute panda bear for Hanna at the Hard Rock Cafe and some more gifts for home.  Then it was back to the hotel for a nap and then to the most fun thing this week....the photo on the Red Couch

In the main lobby of the White Swan Hotel is a red couch near these huge windows overlooking the Pearl River.  All the babies were on the couch and we got to take lots of pictures.  What a sight!  Hanna was dressed in her new denim jumper and her yellow squeaky shoes.  The shoes squeak every time she takes a step. These were a gift from MiMi and we are trying to figure out a way to pay her back:)

I am paying for my date with a cheeseburger with a queasy stomach.  I have eaten everything Chinese that walks, crawls, or slithers and I get sick on a cheeseburger!  Go figure.

Tomorrow it is on to more shopping at a huge toy store and then a big mall.  The Chinese love malls almost as much as Americans and there are lots of them in Guangzhou.

Hanna is doing great.  I will post more pictures as soon as possible.  Love to all and I will try to write more tomorrow.
