Today was quite an adventure.  Debbie bought one of the new Polaroid Izone cameras and we went to a big public park with carnival rides and shops and lots of people walking around.

Well, I started taking pictures of Hanna with old grannies and giving them the picture.  You should have seen the smiles on those old folks faces when the picture started developing before their eyes!

Then we came upon a group of about 30 school kids about elementary school age and each time I took a picture they would rush me to see who would get their hands on the picture first.  That was fun.

We walked a lot and it was hot and humid so it felt good to get back on the bus and head to a big department store in downtown Changsha.  The store had 6 stories and had everything under the sun.

I did the polaroid routine again with the shop girls and it was just as fun as in the park.  I sure burned up a lot of film today but it was worth it.

We did some shopping and then came back to the hotel to relax since tomorrow is the big travel day when we get back on the plane with no leg room to return to Guangzhou.  Thank God it is only an hour flight or I would not have any blood left in my legs.  And I thought Delta was bad.

Tonight was kind of stressful since Hanna seems very fatigued and out of sorts.  We took her back to the floor with the toys but could not get her interested at all.  She just wants to sleep while Debbie pats her on the back. I would help Debbie with Hanna but she still wants nothing to do with me.  I hope that will change soon.  Maybe when we get to the White Swan Hotel I can try to pick her up and get a little closer to her.  In the meantime I am happy that she is bonding so well with Debbie.

Tonight she threw her first temper tantrum and it was kind of cute.  This tiny little girl is standing as tall as she can in her crib and yelling "Mama" at the top of her voice.  The more Debbie ignored her the louder she yelled.  It was a true test of wills....it was tie.

Tomorrow is a travel day so probably not  much to report.  I will try to upload some pictures after we get to the White Swan and maybe I can get a faster connection.

Love to all and as always stay tuned for more adventures in China
