Day 5 was really fun. We met after breakfast with the group and took a bus to a museum where there is a 2000 year
old mummy that was found preserved in 1974 in a tomb nearby. Amazing time we spent there.
Then it was on to an embroidery factory. I cannot describe how cool this was. We bought some samples and
I took lots of video. Hanna did great and seemed to take it all in stride.
We then went for lunch at the restaurant of the chef of Chairman Mao. There were pictures of him with Chairman
Mao all over the place. The food was excellent. Just as we sat down, Hanna reached out, took her chopsticks and
started eating food like she was born with them in her hand. Incredible dexterity for a 2 year old.
After lunch we returned to the hotel. Deb and Hanna are taking a nap.
Tomorrow we go to a Chinese school so that should be an adventure.
